Đa polyp mủ là một bệnh về đường tiêu hóa với nhiều polyp viêm nằm chủ yếu ở phần xa của đại tràng và trực tràng. Các triệu chứng hay gặp của bệnh như tiêu chảy, đại tiện phân có nhầy máu, đau bụng… với hình ảnh nội soi điển hình là nhiều polyp không cuống ở đại tràng sigma và trực tràng. Về mặt mô học, các polyp bao gồm các thùy dài, ngoằn ngoèo và căng phồng được bao phủ bởi một “mủ” mô hạt viêm. Cơ chế bệnh sinh vẫn chưa được biết rõ. Ở đây, chúng tôi báo cáo một bệnh nhân mắc đa polyp mủ đại tràng, phát hiện ở đại tràng sigma và trực tràng, và thuyên giảm sau khi điều trị diệt thành công vi khuẩn Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori).
